• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

is it time

You maybe right. We are going to get the same thing Sunday night and Monday morning. If it melts off the ground here and they don't salt the roads, I will bundle up and plug in the heated gear and ride. Have a Great One, Ride Safe & Stay Warm!

I re-plugged the :spyder2: to the battery tender again. Bought a fresh bottle of Stabil today. Both gas tanks filled up. Low 20's today and the black ice is back on the side roads.

I am also thinking this is the going into hibernation weekend here also.

If so, it has been a great riding year for us. We are going to plan more stuff next summer--health permitting.

I hope to meet up with you next summer

We are so looking forward to the "outside" contingent of :spyder2::ani29:'s coming to visit Alaska. Hope we can enjoy a ride or two and some camaraderie with all those visiting. Meeting with SL members has been a high point of our summers.

As much as I liked riding all year [the past 2 years]
I know we need the water here in California
So, I will gladly put the :spyder2:to bed for the winter if it would only snow

Depends..!

:dontknow::dontknow: could be a artic blast and then back to global warming....:roflblack::roflblack: I wouldn't give up yet...:pray:

I don't have a clue what "hibernation" means.. ? oh well, think we will ride to New Orleans for lunch .. and then to Café Du Monde for "beignets".. anyone care to join in ?

Me either. I put some crap it the tank so the gas dont spoil. Plug in the battery tender and any warm day in Dec, Jan, or Feb if it warms and the roads are dry we will push the Spyder outside and ride. If I can get up & down my ugly dirt driveway.

Just took the sport screen off the 2010 RT and put the stock barn door back on. Good now down to mid teens for ryding.

I don't put my Spyder in storage. One of the main reasons I bought mine is because we get quite a few "warm" days during the winter months and I plan on being out riding.

We went for two good rides this weekend , Saturday morning started in the high 30s and ended in the high 40s , today we had a later ride . the first photo you can see the Three Sisters with their new snow on them .

I have it (Spyder) switch places with where the snowblower gets stored.

I do the exact same thing... :D
I hooked up the Battery Tender yesterday afternoon, and the light was GREEN, right from the get-go!
Whenever I used to hook up my 2010; it might take a half-hour or more to get to that point.
It appears that the alternator is doing a better job of keeping the battery up to snuff! :firstplace:

3 inches of New Snow

I last rode on Veterans Day, six days ago then put the Sta-Bil in the tank and hooked up the tender. Good thing too because Winter got here about three weeks early. We just got our first significant snowfall overnight with 3 inches. No more riding until Spring here.
