Is it possible to replace 2019 F3S display with 2020 display?

I am picking up a new 2019 Can Am Spyder F3S Special series next week that has a 7.6 inch digital display. The 2020 F3SS has a 7.8 inch color display with BRP connect. Does anyone think is would be possible to swap out the 2019 display with the 2020 display? I’m buying a 2019 because I’m saving nearly $4,000, which is why I am not buying the 2020 which is completely identical with the exception of the display and decals being removed. Somebody has to know!??

I know that we can't 'back-fit' the older pre-2018 dash modules into the 2018 & newer machines that came out with the all digital dash - which for many of us, means that it's not all that likely we'll be upgrading our Spyders anytime soon, no matter how great the 2020 versions might be!?! :gaah: :banghead:

Not at all sure that anyone will've tried to fit a 2020 dash into an earlier model yet, tho. :dontknow:

Just curious, what's the benefit ?? 0.2 inches doesn't seem like a huge difference.
Of course, being a techie myself, "I wanna cause I wanna" is a very valid reason.

The difference is a larger color display that lets you access BRP connect as if you had a RT or Limited. Looks much nicer than the current orange digital dash...IMO.

I bet the cost of the upgrade would eat up the biggest part of that $4,000 savings. Would think the cost of the dash panel would just be a small part of the overall cost, but I have been wrong before.

Did you find out if the switch can be completed and the cost? I am buying a base model 2020 F3 and would like the larger digital display of the 2019 or 2020 F3 S. If it is possible and you move forward are willing to sell your old F3 S display?

Hmmmm.. For some reason, I thought the 2019 F3-S SE model came with the full color display/BRP connect? Guess not.
