• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Just turned 75 in April, still riding and playing handball. Not flying much any more but have 29,500 hours to reminisce about flying. Seems to be enough. I don't do ladders anymore and hire the yard work done. My young wife puts in all the lightbulbs in our 14 foot ceilings and most important I still have a good outlook and attitude about life. After all what else can we do about it.

Oh yea, I'm really stiff in the mornings in all the wrong places. Ice packs and heat get me going.

No one has ever left this Planet alive. Well we did have a couple guys go to the moon but they came back.

I'm 67 an still going strong..I am lucky to have a job where I feel I am needed and I can still contribute to.. When we were younger we were all bullet proof, but age and marriage:roflblack:proven me wrong. Now I had cataract surgery a couple of years ago and can see better than I have ever seen. Last year I had to get hearing aids which I do not wear when I ride. The good thing about the hearing aids is that mine came with 3 settings On...Off...and Wife....:yes::yes:..................Life is good......Enjoy every day and ride like you have no regrets...
 
Growing old is mandatory, growing up is optional! Next BD will be 70. Ten years ago had both hips replaced, I have had ten pain free years. Last year while I was away on a business trip and got very sick and spent two weeks in coma, a month in icu, two months in hospital and five months being tube fed. The good news, God as shown me to be productive and enjoy everyday I have been given. My family is closer than ever, I realize how many really good friends I have. I have lost seventy pounds and feeling better than I have in years; work out five days a week and am very careful what I eat. Life is good make the most for every day and ride your Spyder.:joke:
 
A guy went to the doctor and asked him if he would live to be 100. The doctor asked if he drank. Nope. Does he smoke. Nope. Does he drive fast cars or motorcycles? Nope. Like fast women? Nope...


So....why the heck do you want to live to be 100?!?
 
Going to a birthday party in July for Aunt Alice. She turns 100. Her car wouldn't pass inspection this past April (2015) so she isn't driving now. Still gets around good & is healthy. Has a new boyfriend. Sounds like you make it what is.

Me- When I was young & in my prime I used to do it all the time, now I'm old & turning grey I only do it once a day, but it lasts longer.
 
I am older than you.. I still ride motorcycles 700+ miles a day, work in a cabinet shop.. shoot competition pistols in USPSA IPSC matches just about every weekend , fish & hunt.. mow my own lawn ..work out at the gym 3 times a week.. but I don't drink or smoke.. I don't take ANY meds what so ever.. feel good 99% of the time... if the grim reaper decides he wants me.. he better haul a$$ I ain't waiting for him...

Jack LaLanne: Got up every morning before dawn. Exercised everyday 4 hours. At dawn he'd jump in the harbor and drag around boats. Never drank, never smoked, never chased women.
Passed away at 97 years old. What a rich and rewarding life!

Hugh Hefner: Never exercises, drinks too much, smokes too much, chases women, sometimes two or three at a time. 89 years old.

Give or take a few years, who would you rather be ?

I'd rather be myself. But, in my dreams, I'd like to be Hugh.
 
I can not ride the 500 mile days or even hundred mile days, but a nice ride 50 miles is a lot better then sitting in the recliner watching TV.
Or some some say, the groundhogs are not delivering my mail.
I will be 80 in November if I last that long, if not it has been one hell of a ride

Yep! I turned 63 last Nov 30. Everyday that I go to my shop and do anything, like standing most of the day, walking a lot, or - Heaven Forbid!! - getting up and down off of the floor, I can hardly move the next day! The drive to and from my shop is about 50 minutes. I am pretty loose when I leave the shop, but by the time I get home I can barely get out of the truck!

It takes a REAL MAN to get old!!!
