• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Is a replacement Lithium Battery the way to go? How have you installed yours?

I have gone to the Noco 20 battery 1 year+! Jury is still out on it in my book, we'll see if it holds up as well as the stock brand! I will say that I love the charger I got with the battery, it does the standard batteries as well as the Lithium!!! works well in my book. Battery, I will let you know in a few years!!

If you're just worried about moving in the box you could use some Styrofoam or dense rubber foam to fill up the open area.
I just modified the bracket a little so the battery clamp would fit into the NLP recess (only took a few minutes on my grinder). After that it was as solid as factory. Put 2k miles over the summer on trips with no issues.

I have just bought and am about to install a BS lithium battery - BSLi-10 - to my 2019 F3-S. Has anyone on here got one of these batteries?

Have you guys considered just 3D printing a spacer to fit the NOCO battery?
I've had a lot of luck with using a 3D printer to make parts for my old Bushtec trailer and it's not terribly expensive.

If someone has a bad/dead NLP20 NOCO battery I could use for measurements, I could likely design a printable 3D model.

I'm still up in the air on what battery I will order to replace the 7 year old stock battery on my wife's 19 RTL.

I was thinking about making a 3D printed battery frame for the smaller battery and skipping the foam blocks if I go with a LiFePo4 battery.

Sorry for the necromancy, but I figured I'd ask.

Last one I installed came with spacers!

Well, looks like I will have a chance to test this out for myself. my 7 year old battery is at the tipping point. (just bought the bike (2019) with 1700 miles and the battery gave a slow crank and start fail after sitting 3 days. it spent 16 hours on a tender and still hadnt reach the charger completed charge state and had only just hit 13.2V

I'm going to pickup a NOCO this afternoon and pull the YUASA. If i end up doing anything fancy with 3D printing a better way to secure the battery I will make a new dedicated thread. TY!
