• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

IPOD

Ipod Touch Gen 4

So the included (2014 RT Limited) Ipod connector will connect to and control the Gen 4 Ipod Touch? I probably should've asked this question before I ordered one!
Thanks, Rick

Yep... and you don't need the lightening connector adapter for it like you do for the Ipod touch 5th gen.

I used a 4th gen with a cracked screen that I had dropped! It's in my RT 24/7.

IPOD start/stop play

I have an Rt limited (2013) just purchased and hooked iPod with BRP cable for remote control

I can not figure out how to start/stop iPod (remotely) using the RT handle bar controls
(not just mute)

Does anybody know to this

Thanks

If you are plugged into the right side (looking from he rear) outlet that is switched (meaning it is tied to the electrical system and only comes on when the Spyder is powered up) the IPod will power up and power down automatically. The switch on the bars does not turn the device on or off. If you are plugging the iPod into the left side outlet you have power on all the time but that outlet does not interact with the iPod to the internal audio system on the Spyder.
