Is there a certain Ipod that has to be used on the RT or will any of the Ipods work?? (nano, 1st gen, 2nd gen an so on) Thanks for the help...

There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I do not think it makes any difference. We have two iPods and both work just fine with the adapter that came with the Spyder.

Thats the secret, it needs to be able to plug into the provided adapter. Which rules out the shuffle.

The shuffle won't work with the iPod adapter, but the rest will. The iPhone does, too. The Nano is a reliable bet, since it does not have a conventional hard drive, so it can't be jarred out of whack by the road bumps. Don't forget to turn off the "Change songs on shake" feature on the iPod.
