iphone 4 is getting too hot too quick

i use my phone as the source of music and iphone 4 is getting so hot, i can not use it more than 20 minutes before thermal shutdown kicks in. yes it's hot but i have never had this problem with 3gs or 3g. i think it's the aluminum chassis causing the overheating problem. i am going to find a way to insulate the phone...
i know there are more ryders who use iphone on their spyder so let me know if yours does the same thing. may be it's just mine...

I think the glass on the front and back may have more to do w it. The aluminum should disipate heat better.

I do not have that problem. I love my phone. Of course I do have an iFrogz case that I bought the first day to protect my phone.

If you are looking for GPS I have Mobile Maps by Sygic $30.00 and does a really good job.

mine must be just a bad apple out of a barrel. i went to apple store today and they hooked it to diagnostics and saw that it had 8 overheating caution so they are going to replace it. only problem is they do not have any...
it gets hot when i am at home playing songs on ipod part of it.

No thanks, I like my 3G just fine. No interest in the iPhone 4 or the iPad.

Pretty ridiculous that you have to buy a special case to use a phone the way it was intended. :cus:
