iPad help

Every so often when visiting web sites instead of a picture i see a litle blue square with a white ? . What do I need to do so I can see the picture? The iPad is great to have next to you when your doing upgrades or maintenance on the spyder. But things are a ton easier with pictures.

The iPad doesn't support flash - no work around for that. You can go to your desktop and save the page as a PDF, then transfer it to your iPad, & see everything.

I've been looking at purchasing an iPad2 and the flash video bothers me. However, in all the reading up on it, I learned "there's an app for that." actually two apps that will play flash video.

Thanks for the info. I have been very happy with my iPhone and now want to try using an iPad in my classroom. I think I can manage just fine without a few flash videos.

I know I won't be able to play some games or view a few videos, that's fine. But pictures on a web site?

Example. Looking at http://www.canyonchasers.net/shop/generic/relay.php today. I am able to view all pictures on the iPad. Touch a picture and it fills the screen. Go back and no more pictures on the site. Just little blue ? marks.

Even a few older threads here are nothing but little blue ? marks

Refreshing doesn't help. Guess I just can't touch the pictures. :dontknow:

Interesting-- seems to work okay on my iphone 4.

For this forum I would use TapaTalk app -- works great!

Yep all photos work on my iPhone 3GS so it works on the older os.

I just tried your link on my iPad, & like you said, it all worked fine & when I went back to the page the pics were blank, but once I refreshed the page, they all showed up again on my ipad:dontknow: so I'm not sure why their not refreshing & showing on yours:dontknow: But I agree with you, the iPad is very handy but also very frustrating when it comes to uploading pics :gaah:

Could be a case of bad programming on the website......
