• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Went to the show today and was really disappointed as I expected to see BRP at the show. Nope not represented at all.
BRP was there last year. What gives?:gaah::hun::banghead:

It was a disappointment for sure. There was a good showing of Spyder riders there in spite of BRP’s no show.

Joe was super excited to see the new Goldwing but disappointed that they didn’t have one in white at the show and none available to test ride

Three wheeler machines were represented by Slingshot, Vanderhall and Piaggio. Vanderhall is fielding a fully electric model priced at $39,000.

The sunset set photo is just to rub in what a gorgeous day it was in Long Beach.

You missed it...

The chit chat about BRP deciding not to participate in the IMS this year...maybe holding out for the new cheap model they mentioned...:banghead:

Hard to say why they skipped it. Talk from my local dealer is they're having personnel issues of some kind or another. Maybe that spilled over onto this area of the business. :dontknow:

How can you find out if they will be at the Minneapolis MN show. They have been every year I've gone.

I don't think you can find out. If you go to the main IMS page, BRP is not listed as one of the participating brands. Then there's a disclaimer that brands may vary per each show stop and to check the show schedule for that show's brand listing. But when I go there, there's no brand list.

They were basically a no show at the Sydney Australia Motor Cycle show as well, except for two F3's on display at the entrance to the show. A BRP rep told me they were channelling their resources elsewhere (and it was a matter of priorities) but would have a display stand in Australia at next years show. I told them "too late, they would have lost a number of sales from this show"

So it's basically the same here in Auszzie land as in the USA :sour:

Based on their "targeted marketing initiative" where they focus their efforts on people that have shown interest in the Spyder by clicking on adds an drew then inviting them to "private demos", I don't expect them to show up at these shows at all. I think with the introduction of the sub 10,000 Spyder next year they may want to make a splash then!
