• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

...I know the motorcycle show will have many people their that are not spyder riders but it seems like this will be a great turnout for us spyder folks. Which will be great for me, because in the past 4 months that I have researched spyders and eventually purchased, I have only seen one spyder on the road. The funny thing is most dealers I spoke to say they have sold really well?

Funny you mention not seeing many in the area. 2 weeks ago we did a ride with Richardson MotorSports and there we about a dozen spyders there, none of them which we ever saw before. Did our ride up to Justin and sat down for lunch and discovered that 3 of them are 5 min from the house. Chalked that one up to a small world.

I purchased my spyder from Richardson Motorsports. Chris invited me to the ride but I was not ready for a ride just yet, I don't have my M endorsement yet, and most importantly my wife and I had a baby shower on the 20th at 11am and I think the ride started around 10:30am, right?

Yeah, we shoved off around 10:30, rode up to Justin, had lunch and headed home. Made it back to the house about 3:00 and ran just about 170 miles. Good time, good company, good food...couldn't ask for much more, and the weather was great. If you go onto their Facebook page, their Oct 24 post has us staging to leave the dealership, we're right in front!

my dealership is working hard on getting my spyder in the show hasn't been official yet but keeping my fingers crossed. will keep you updated if it happens,but anyway scooterepress and the misses will be there saturday got my free tickets in the mail.

For the locals please find a nice place us Houstonian's can go & grab some good home cooking :pray: been awhile since i been to that area(from Grapevine) but i dont recall a diner so.... if you would be so inclined to suggest a nice place we would grateful :thumbup:
 
As of this morning, 17 confirmed members of The Spyder Ryders of North Texas are going to be at the show. It's looking like we are going to have a pretty good turnout!
 
Well.. As I last night you can add me to the list!! Yay.
I will be driving down Friday and leaving Sunday after lunch. I FINALLY get to meet the Chapter I am part of and so many other girls I have got to k ow through G.O.S!
I am all for meeting anyone for dinner or whatever. I will be by myself and have to bring the car :(
Bike is sick and going to the doctor in a few weeks
Will be staying at the "Intercontinental Dallas Hotel" over by the galleria area
As for free tickets.... I think they were misplaced or thrown away by mistake
