• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Commerce Insurance is the carrier I have now. $1117 with a $1000 deductable. The agent says its due to the COST of the RT-s. An that its in Massachusetts. If I went to a $500 ded, that's an additional $452 !! PLus I have only had my MC license 3 years. at 6yrs its supposed to drop.

I am still thinking of Progressive, but I don't like the ratings they get for claims.

Foremost for $482 here in CT.
Remember your credit score, driving history, and age have a lot to do with the amount?
In WA through Foremost I pay an annual of $709 :yikes: for 25/50 with a $1000 dollar deductible. Credit score: 812; driving history spotless: age well that almost 70 could be the culprit. BUT Foremost was the way best price..others ranged from $920 - $1400 for same coverage. (I do carry un/under insured motorist which is a $230 portion of Foremost's premium). Know of some folks with motorcycles who carry no insurance, but I would be spending to many sleepless nights if I made that choice. So I pay up...whine & complain and pray no accidents happen.

In Indiana, full coverage, don't have the numbers handy but it's less than 300 a year. The biggest cost change was when I pointed out the Spyder is NOT a crotch rocket, which is where most companies insure it, it has a frunk (luggage), which by their definition makes it a sport-tourer. Before I changed it, my cost was above 600.

Insurance

Dairyland, 336.00 for 2 spyders,full coverage,hi deductibles......
they give discounts for Vets, Mc safety course, and accident free.

Only problem they may not have agent in your state.

I RECEIVED 10 QUOTES RANGED FROM 1400 TO 2300, MAYBE SOME CDN. RIDERS CAN HELP

Mantha Insurance is the cheapest for a new rider. It was $1277.00 but it's at $1465.00 as of May 1st. Primmum is around $1800.00

1 year rider at Mantha is $1100.00

Progressive has it listed as both a motorcycle and a roadster HMMM? Just insured my '09 for $540 a year.

I've got full coverage in Utah with Allstate for $268.45 with a $500 collision and $250 comprehensive deductible. I do have my F150, Condo and 4-wheeler insured with them too and haven't had a ticket in over 10 years.

When I got this last year, my agent told me that Allstate had just done a complete re-work on their motorcycle and RV pricing to be more competitive. I'm certainly happy with it.

I'm paying a little over 1800 a year, but I've got full coverage, accessory coverage and a low deductible. Plus I've had several speeding tickets and an accident in the last few years. I'm insured with Progressive.

I had a better rate at State Farm (who I'd been with for about 20 years) but they cancelled me for being too 'high risk' for them (despite going 10 years with no tickets and no accidents).

Spyder Insurance

I've had Geico Insurance with multi-vechicle car/boat for over 20 years and good driving record and pay $114.00 per month for full coverage. I could have paid about $75.00 per month for lesser coverage, but I thought it was better for added coverage to be on the safe side. Alot of Quotes given here are not revealing what type of coverage their getting, the lower the quote could mean anything from State minium to liability only, ie no unisured motorist, or other important (to Some ) coverage. Some try to get by with what they can afford because of money issues, but if you have to cut back on MODs, or other back burner items, to increase your Spyder insurance, it may well be worth it. Thanks

Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

Well, I am new here but already you guys have impressed me :2thumbs:. First I thought I had contacted every insurance co. know to man and thought I had the best annual rate available. BUT along came :spyder:lovers and recommended. Marc B. Fischer, his email is, [email protected] and he sold me Foremost. Saved me $350 on my annual premium.

Then #2 super deal from your recommendations: First Gear Women's Contour Mesh Jacket for sale at NewEnough for $39.99 -- got mine today...holy cow what a great jacket for an incredible price...my opinion they run a little small..

Ok, just wanted to say thanks for all the "bargains". I loooove a good deal.
