There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. I am picking up my new 2012 RT-S SE-5 next week.

What are typical yearly rates for full coverage insurance? FL resident, good driving record, 61 yo male.

Got a quote from Progressive of $1,400. That seems very high.

Thanks,

Gary

YIKES...! ! !

YIKES... ! ! !
i have ALL STATE for my '09 RS, and your quote is more than double what i pay for the year...
i'm 64 with ZERO accidents and NO tickets in the last 20 yrs...
what is your history? if you have violations, you'll obviously be paying more dependent on the types of violations...

shop around, PROGRESSIVE isn't the only insurance company...

We were very amazed when we purchased our :spyder2:this year. 225$ for the year with new replacement in case of theft!! This is in Quebec, we asked what it would be If we rode to the states for the winter months and were told about 16 extra a month. We were very surprised and of course took it!

That agent properly doesn't even know what a Spyder is let alone seen one,
Try Foremost Inc, They know Spyders.:thumbup::thumbup:

We're paying $1070/year to Progressive for our 2012 RT and 2008 GS/RS...the RS is $320/yr, with the RT being the rest. (We get discounts for multi-vehicles and safe driving records). Your location in S FL is probably a lot of the higher cost since we're in the Panhandle. We're shopping around before April, when our current policy expires. Some of the other local riders use Foremost.

We have Geico and pay $458 per year for full coverage with $200 deductibles. No tickets or accidents and not sure what my credit score is. Haven't bought anything on credit in about 15 years.

2013 RT-S

Progressive in Florida * $564.00/year

$250,000.00 - $500,000.00 Bodily

$100,000.00 Property

$500.00 deductible

Includes Comprehensive and Collision.

* This quote does not include "uninsured motorist" in that I have a "stacked policy with AAA on my automobiles. Consequently uninsured motorist is not necessary.

I have progressive with full coverage for my 2011 RT S SE5 and a 2007 Honda VTX 1300, $531.00 for a year of coverage.

Florida rates are higher than the norm, but shouldn't be THAT HIGH...! I've got two bikes, a custom '06 H-D Ultra Classic and a new '12 Spyder RT-S. I pay just over $600 a year to Foremost (a division of Farmers I believe) for full coverage. Age 62, great driving record, no tickets since that stinking state trooper spoiled my 37 year driving record back in '03.

I have a 2010 RS ...60 years young...$40.24 per month....full coverage...multiple vehicles.... State Farm. No tickets, no accidents, Nada!!

I'm paying $224 per year with Allstate for a 2012 RTS. Policy states it's reduced by $149 due to multiple policy's with them.

Progressive

Progressive $563.00 a year for $100,000 / $300,000 and full replacement coverage including $3000 for accessories. Also have both cars and boat with them so I am sure that helps.

Pay around 300/yr for 100/300 with a 500 deductible on a 2010 rs through allstate (30 yrs old).

State farm dropped me when i bought the spyder... i went on vacation about a month after buying it and they claimed my vin was bad and would only insure me if i showed them the title. Seeing as i was out of state when they sent the letter i came home to a cancellation letter. So i shopped around and allstate was the cheapest with amfam in second.
