Google the GMAC Insurance site and call them. I have had them for several years. Their prices are very reasonable, IMHO.

Good news for me and perhaps others

When I purchased my Spyder RT-S SE5 2010 Model - It was one of
the first in the UK
Bikesure was recommended to me - I had riddden Motorcycles for
over 30yrs the last one being a BMW K100LT
No accidents and No Claims I was paying about £250 Fully comp for a years cover

I was quoted £512 for the Spyder and did shop around but most companies did not even have the Spyder listed and could not quote me - Went with Bikesure

Renewal came up in Dec 2011 this time the quote was £370

Just got my renewal quote for next year and its now £279- Great news

Did decide to try various other insurance websites quotes ranged from
£324 to would you belive it £9,197

Ref quote from Aquote -

I reckon they are quoteing for a Lamborghini Gallardo LP 560-4 Spyder
or Porsche RS Spyder.

It seems strange they would ask for over £9000 just for a years insurance
its just under 50% of the value of the Can AM Spyder dependant on the
model

My insurance

I have progressive on my 2 bikes. 2009 Yamaha tmax scooter is about 85 a year and my 2012 spyder rt is 500 a year, I have full coverage on my rt. I use an independent insurance agent out of Montgomery Alabama. My truck and camper are covered under The Hartford co. and that is about 1300 a year full coverage. (2005 Jayco talon zx and 2013 Chevy Silverado 2500 HD)

I'm paying $224 per year with Allstate for a 2012 RTS. Policy states it's reduced by $149 due to multiple policy's with them.

I am 63 no accidents but two speeding tickets in the last 7 years and I pay $375 with Foremost for the year. I do get a discount for multiple vehicles, it's about $150.

What ever insurance co. you go with , Make sure you get max on Uninsured , And UNDER insured coverage.
There are a lot of Yahoo's out there with out insurance or at best minimum insurance.

:agree: Particularly in New Jersey with their 0/0/10 policy for the "thrifty"! :gaah:
