Is this camera available from brp or Aftermarket and how much did it cost.

There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

The camera is available from BRP at https://can-am-shop.brp.com/on-road/us/en/camera-backup-kit-can-am-219401199.html. It is $249, but if you have a 2024 Spyder you also need the rear fender from a 2025. Those run something like $230 on BRP parts sites. People have had luck with aftermarket cameras for as low as $20 to $30 off Amazon or similiar. With that approach, you have to build your own mating cable and mounting scheme though. I'm planning to give the aftermarket approach a go.

As for my 712D, I hooked it all up via my bluetooth and only use the BRP Convict for keeping my phone charged.
As for the order of connection, my Android is connected to the 712D and my Cardo Neo. The Cardo is connected to my phone for primary channel and my Garmin is on the secondary channel. The 712 is connected to the phone and RT through Bluetooth.
It sounds like a bag of snakes for a setup, but it works like a charm for me, especially since I primarily use the 712 as a dash cam and active rear view mirror (I have limited ROM of my neck from an old injury). Now I just have to wait on the parts from Ram Mounts to complete my idea to clean up the dash area and get rid of the "Junk Pile" esthetic.

For anyone with a 2024 Spyder RT, this camera works like a charm, and can be mounted easily right below the license plate frame on the flat surface horizontal to the ground. Looks OEM. I tried two other brand cameras, and neither would provide signal. Installed by you, it will run under $50 compared to the BRP solution. I forget who found this camera, but it is a great recommendation.

I know the 2024 does not have the hole used for the camera, $245 install but, my question is, are the Part numbers for the wire harness and display the same for the 2025 and 2024 models? If so then why wouldn't it plug in? Surely you would just have to deal with installing the camera, which should be doable? My software reflects camera off/on. So I'm sorry if I missed something in this thread.

The camera will plug in fine, the only issue is the hole and mounting. Can Am recommends replacing the rear panel with a 2025 panel, at additional cost of course, if you use the OEM camera. The OEM appears much larger than aftermarket, so my gut says figuring out how to mount to a 2024 panel could be a challenge. That led me to the aftermarket camera, much cheaper and easy to mount. I can't tell a difference in operation or clarity between the OEM and aftermarket, neither is as great as a good car, but that is likely display vice camera.

You can install an Aoocci C9 Pro or a Carpuride 712 for a lot less than you will a Can-Am backup camera. You'll have a bigger viewing screen, front and back cameras, navigation, plus other apps and tire pressure monitors.

I use a Capuride 712D. I did a temporary install of the cameras with command strips and zip ties to get the feel for it. After a month of riding, I took the cameras back off because I never used them and didn't see the point. I repositioned the cameras several times trying to see if there was a better view that would be more useful, but nothing beats the visibility we already have. I removed the cameras and maybe some time I'll try them again.
As for the 712D itself, it's great. I had tried a friend's AndroidAuto head unit in the past and hated it because it tried to take over audio. But these new motorcycle specific units don't do that. They will start and stop audio but they don't want to be in the middle, just off to the side a bit. And since my house is controlled with Home Assistant, and there is an AndroidAuto app for that, I can open and close the garage from the 712D as well as any other house lights.
It's frustrating that Cardo doesn't have an AndroidAuto app so I still need to access my phone on some rides to control the headset.

Hi. I bought the same camera, just wondering how did you wire it? I see 2 biege/black wires on each side and one red in the middle. My question is the wires on the camera - how did you wire it?

I have something similar. This is what I did.I use an Innovv dash cam on my Spyder. The cameras on the above link seem to be the same 1080p cam I have on the rear of my Spyder (2K front cam). I am quite happy with the video quality it provides. Innovv used a Spyder for one of their images showing the screen mounted, I thought that was cool.
That system looks super tempting as it appears to do so much more than be a camera, and it would be a proper workaround for the TERRIBLE BRP Go garbage!

I have a 2021 RT Limited that was in an accident. When the back was replaced, they didn’t use the 2021 part but instead used a 2025 or 2026 part with a hole for a camera. I decided to get a unit with two cameras and installed one in the hole - it works fine now.
