• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Has anyone put installed new battery by them self in 12 R? Husband is putting new one in. How does he go about doing it?

If you meant "12 RT", yes I did mine about 4 weeks ago.

I found it easiest to remove the entire LH side luggage compartment to give the best access to the battery tray.
The hardest part really is removing all the tupperware and whatnot just to get to the area. After that it is really easy.

If you follow the instructions in your owner's manual to the letter: it's not too tough of a job to strip the bodywork off. nojoke

Agree..!!

:agree: but remember the sequence...remove the black (-, negative) cable first then the red (+, positive). When hooking up the new one do the red cable first then the black. This will avoid any sparking arcing or blowing fuses...
