• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Installed LED from TricLED and a special thanks for Reggy's help.

I called Reggy and asked him to make me two LED's strips 10 inches long in blue. Added some
quick connects for easy service that might need to be done in the future.
I put them in the cracks that you see where the oil check panels are. Check pic's and you will know where they are.
It looks really nice I think and goes with the Halo lighting and fender strips that where already there.
Thanks Reggy and TricLED's again for great customer service!

Sypderrock, I have several of Reggy's Trick LED items, but for the under carriage I wanted something a little different. I went to www.superbrightleds.com and ordered a 16' roll of flexible weatherproof RGB LED's and they will make every color imaginable. As long as you have some soldering ability it might be something to look into. You will want to order 4 wire from them as well. I ordered 30' just to be on the safe side. We tested the roll of LED's the other night and they looked great! Since I'm going to have to remove the frunk to put in Reggy's FuzeBlock and most of the tupperware to route the wiring and the position of the sections that I cut out of that roll, it's going to take some planning. My Utopia Back Rest came in today as well. The weather is going to be crap here for the next few days, so I guess I'll start gutting it tomorrow. I'm going to go to Radio Shack and figure out what parts I need to make quick disconnects so that I don't have to cut the LED wires if the SypderPops skid bump has to come off, which at some point in time if will. Reggy did have a great idea about routing out a 1/8" deep channel by 1/2" wide where the LED strips will nestle on the skid bump. See Stevemac's thread on that at:

I'll try to post pics of my progress, successes and mistakes, so that others may benefit or avoid from my experience.

Hey Kevorama, pics would be awesome. I just got my break lights for my trailer from supperbright(shipping from them is crazy) and have yet to install them. I am very familiar with that site we used a lot of led in our home reno's. I am going to call Reggie at tric light and have a chat with him then I can figure out what I want to do. look forward to the pics

Spyderrock, I'm starting the tear down in the morning. I have to make a trip to the wood shop for a nice, new, sharp router bit for channeling the bump skid for LED's. Then it's off to Radio Shack to figure out what I'll need to make the disconnects for the 4 channel wire. I'll take pics as I go, but it might be a day or so until I can post them. Depends on weather and how well this goes. I'm also adding the FuzeBlock and the Utopia back rest while it's all apart.
