• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I hate posting :banghead:....however, the names you are using for the lamps/bulbs don't make any sense....The pics are not of LED's or HID's ( I can't tell what was in the headlight )....they are all Halogen in appearance....to the best of my knowledge there is no such think as a 65W LED bulb ....LED's are not even bulb's....I have never heard of " 100W LED Lights "......I sent you a PM, I hope it clears this up ........Mike [emoji106][emoji106][emoji106] ................ OK, while I was typing you posted more PICs....You bought 100 watt Halogen Bulbs .....NOT LED.....and I'm guessing you did it after reading my post about it, I'm sorry this happened to you....it also happened to me and I ,immediately posted about it, and said if you did it to UNDO IT ASAP.......only my plug melted , the bulbs were/are fine and I now have CERAMIC plugs to re-place the BRP ones that melted....these are rated for 1800 degree's F ..........If you want Brighter and safer lights go with the 9005 LED set from Xenon Dept. they are about $ 100.00 delivered and work great from all reports............Mike [emoji106]
I ordered these lights from Amazon based on a recommendation from a post on here vs. The HID lights with the balast and transformer because it was just a matter of switching bulbs. Turns out that I purchased 100W Halogen bulbs which worked fine for about a month. The first bulb blew with no problems so I just replaced it. I had purchased 2 pair to have a spare set. A few weeks later the other bulb blew, but this time with devastating results. Plug was melted and the reflector lens damaged.
I had to get a new light housing and I have since purchased the Xeondepot HID kit 5000k. I have installed the kit in both headlights and am satisfied with the results. I have no plans to change to anything else given the trouble all this has caused me. One thing that you might be interested in, the light will not burn on high beam unless both light assemblies are plugged in. 2 days of trouble shooting and going over wiring diagrams revealed that to me. This has been a hard lesson to learn for me. Going forward, unless it breaks, I have turned the last bolt, screw or nut on this bike. Between collapsing gasoline tanks, to headlights that are possessed, I have had my fill.
