• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Installation of BrightSides & Fender Tips RT-S (Part 3)

The lights are all in on the front fenders. These LED's are so bright that they don't photograph very well. I'm including these shots so that you can see just how bright the side markers and especially the mud flap lights are. Since these are used with the TIPS kit the fender lights all blink alternately with the mirror turn signal. That stands out a little more than if they blinked in sync with it. I'll tackle the rear side markers, TricLED's dual mode, thin strip, brake lights and the Vader Wings this weekend. We have unusual 80° weather and no tornadoes in the forecast this week in MO. Woo Hoo, riding to work every day!!!

Mud Flap LED'S

I have the Custom Dynamics LED's on my RT Mud Flaps. I find the glare at night very distracting. I have to position my arms to block the glare from the lights. The lights themselves protrude a bit from the mud flap so I thought of installing an "Eyebrow" to deflect the glare. Any one else find this to be a distraction?

I love the lights and the added visibility to other drivers.

When I'm wearing a modular or full face, it blocks it for me. If not, you're dead on. They are bright! I'm sure someone will offer a 'hood' to compliment that effect. I don't have the time to try and make one that is practical. Let me know if you have any luck.

Man that looks good and those break lights are bright :2thumbs:

Those ain't brake lights my friend, they are running lights. Like they say, they are very, very bright. Those are only the front fender rear facing lights, or the mud flap area. Depending on your state or local municipality's legal code for vehicle lighting, the front fender's rear lighting might not be legal to connect to the brakes. The good thing is that they alternately go off and on with the front/rear turn signals to get more attention that I am turning. The high level brake lights will hopefully get done this weekend.

Somtimes the texter's don't always see the obvious. I'm done crashing bikes. It's now 'see or be seen' and I have invested more than I planned on.
