There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Install Ken's race filter and fuel pressure mod.

I installed Ken's race air filter and fuel pressure modifire today. Haven't riden yet but will tomorrow. Idles good rev's guick. If anybody orders the kit be sure to order the gauge too. I didn't and tried digital tire gauge. won't work. I borrowed one from work to set fuel pressure. Sure looks clean when the plastic covers are off now.

Just out of curiosity, how much noisier is the intake over the stock airbox? I realize you haven't ridden it yet, but an initial impression and then a post ride impression would be appreciated. :)

I would be interested in knowing what type of performance gains you experience. I have an aftermarket pipe now and am debating about buying the normal filter replacement or the racing filter and fuel pressue regulator. May even wait a little while and see what come out for reprogramming the computer.

Ok I have had a chance to ride it. WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a difference in performance. It pulls a lot harder up to and above the power band. There is some noise to put up with. Not a bad thing though. Sorta sounds like the cold air set up on the import cars. Not hard to do. worth the money and time to add to the Spyder.

Ditto

I installed Evoluzione's Fuel Pressure Modifier kit and the Race Airflow System this past weekend.

As far as the new intake sound I like it. It does growl a little when you get down on it.

All I can say is WOW jest like spyder13 it made a huge difference all the way through the power curve.

This really surprised me. I did about 150 mile test this weekend pulled the plugs out few times
to see how they looked- ended up with 62 lb of fuel pressure.

Even the cruise control going up to the mountains it never lugged like it used to to keep up to the desired
setting it just stayed at the setting and powered through quite a different feel.

Another thing that I noticed with that huge airbox gone I have noticed a slight reduction
in the engine temperature bars. I wouldn't say it's drastic but it makes a difference.

This was so far the best upgrade yet I'd like to know how much horsepower this added to the engine?

At least it may seemed substantial, I would've liked to have done and engine dino test before and after just to see.
(After bypassing the Nanny of course)

It was like my Spyder was half asleep and now it's Wide Awake.

Wow, two people raving about the mods and it looks good too. Too bad you can't see it with the covers on.

Any worries about the Nanny or any backfires?:2excited::congrats::yes:

Looks good. I may do something like this down the road. I want to see what you guys think a month from now. :spyder:

Sounds like a great mod, have you had a chance to check the fuel consumption as yet. I could not live with a big increase in running costs but I suppose you cannot have it both ways.....

Fuel Pressure and airflow system

Ok, thats it. now you got my attention where do I find this Evoluzione's fuel pressure kit and race airflow system?

I have Ken's o2 modifier. I am running a Micron Carbin fiber right now. Going to try my LeoVince back on with baffle out to compare

Yes worth the money. No more hesitations, popping or surging or sputtering. Has great improvement on accelleration. I can get 30 maybe 31 MPG if I can stay out of the throttle. The only thing to warn you about is the noise. Not bad to me but might annoy some.

Thanks, noise is probably not an issue for me this is a toy not a cross country machine for me.

I've been running the whole setup (o2 Mod, Race Airflow, Fuel Mod, Hindle) for about a month now - and the difference is frankly AMAZING.

My off the line starts are almost scary now!

The throttle response is so smooth throughout the whole range - it is a totally different bike.

Pros:

Runs smoother
Runs Cooler
Runs faster
No more oil in airbox
No more airbox
Easy Access

Cons:

You have to cut the stock regulator in half.
Noise - it is MUCH louder.

I highly recommend using a Dremel to cut the regulator - and clean her up well afterwards! I'll be ordering a replacement stock regulator just to have around in case the need arises to switch back to the stock setup.

I have this thing about being able to return my Spyder back to stock if I ever want (or need) to - think warranty issues.;)

I'm also going to make an insulated box to surround the new filter, with large cold-air vents feeding it from both sides of the Spyder. Picture a Y shaped device with the filter being at the bottom of the Y and the cold air intakes feeding from the tops of the Y.

That should cut down on the noise - and get cold air into the system.

For the performance minded rider - these mods are a MUST have.

I'm also considering getting a Veypor VR2 so I can get an idea of just how good the Spyder is doing.

I can't show you a photo, but if you go to http://evoluzione.net/evo-cycle.htm you can see one.

Go to Instructions and scroll down. Fuel mod under Can-Am.

If you also look in the photo someone posted here, the fuel regulator is the part that has the black 'topper' part on it with a vent tube feeding into it.
