In search of solutions for 9 pin connector?

In search of a solution or remedy for my 2010 RT-622 trailer 9 pin connector no longer secures when rotated to lock in place on the female end on my Spyder. I have mated the two together and wrapped electrical or Gorilla brand tape to secure and prevent the two from separating, and it has worked but just doesnt help to ease my mind. Any solutions for this problems? Can the rotating ring with the knobs be replace and where would I find the part?
