• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

If the snow F's me for a few days I am going to have to cut down to texas, but I have the floorboards you guys sent with the edges on them and they are AWSOME, it took me and another guy 3 hours to put them on and that is with a trip to the store to get the bots I lost when I moved, this is also after working 12 hours so I would say that a real person could have put them on in an hour and a half.

should be down there monday morning if all goes well.

I will get some pics up in a bit.

.
I've got news for you Seth... you are more real than most folks. You are my hero.

.

I am no anyones hero, I got hurt because I was not a good enough rider so I just do the best I can with what I got, and I am not as good as I need to be, there are things i can't do so I not a hero to anyone.

Here are some pics of the boards.

You may not be a hero, at least to yourself, but please realize that you are an inspiration, even to the able-bodied folks out here. Anytime you can do more, with less, you deserve recognition. I know you are uncomfortable with that, but you show what knowledge, skill, and perseverance can do, even under less than ideal circumstances. One of my heroes growing up was Raymond Godman, who founded the Tennessee Bo' Weevil series of race cars, and ran Top Fuel cars in the early days of drag racing. He tuned some of the best race cars in the nation from the seat of his wheelchair. If he can be a "hero", why can't you?

I will let the proper people know that you are coming. I will actually be on vacation next week with my kids. Not a problem for you. I will have everything set up for you when you get here.

Well thanks man, its not what I'm not what I consider a hero by any means but I see what other people Raymond have done and I don't consider what I do to that point.

Maybe not, but you have already risen above what a lot of others have done, and that counts for a lot. I never won US Nationals or made the magazines a lot, but few people ever drove a front engined fuel car, either. No matter how we slice it, there are some people that look up to us. All we can do is grin and bear it. Learn to wear it well, young friend. :D Just smile and accept the occasional pat on the back. You do deserve a few.

finally got down here, if anyone wants to make the trek in the worst snowstorm in years when driving with your hands and pulling a trailer in a 2 wheel drive truck, I will warn you it is a challange.

After over 3 rollover accidents on I had to sleep, it was 530 am and I had been driving since 2 pm, and I got the truck stuck in the motel parking lot in Concordia MS, got up took care of being handicrapped and took off drive all the way to ISCI in Montgomery AL, Billy and Jeff at ISCI are outstanding, they have several great Ideas coming out and have an AMAZING machining setup. Brendan my co pilot and I slept from 630am to 815am in the parking lot of ISCI, it was 27 degrees in AL so we drove the truck and trailer down to FL, so we kept switching out driving till we hit clearwater and met up with doc at 830 pm. Too much time in a cage

Doc hooked my buddy and up with a killer hotel on the ocean, it was 60 degrees riding to the hotel, warmest I have rode in since october, was awsome. going riding tomorrow at about 11ish.

:congrats: Glad you made it safely thru the snow storm.
Hope you have a great time. Enjoy that nice weather.

Doc, looks like you guys had a geat time. Too bad the weather was so WARM. A nice 77 degrees. I went and watched my Spyder sitting all by itself at the dealer. Then jumped on the Busa and got all of my frustration out. Gotta love 4th gear power wheelies.

Glad you made it. That was rough going! Looks like a good time is being had by all! Happy New Year and safe travels!!
