• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hi All,

Just wanted to introduce myself. I got my Spyder in April and I've been having a blast. I traded my Harley in and I would never go back!!! I look forward to meeting you all!

Welcome There Donna: A wealth of info here on this forum. We are having fun on our spyder as well. Dennis on the Oregon Coast :welcome:

great job on trading very smart you will have nothing but rants and raves on your spyder not to mention a smoother ride and also great on those long trips congrats and welcome from all of us here on the site im sure i speak for all on this one :congrats:

:welcome:

Can you tell us a little more about your Spyder? Have you taken any special trips on it or made any modifications or add-ons to it?

Signed:
A confessed Spyder junkie. ;D

Welcome Donna,

It hardly seems possible that I have had a spYder for a whole week. I had sold a Yamaha Virago 1100 and find the spYder a perfect replacement. As you say - no looking back.

:congrats: :welcome:! I should be gettting my Spyder in a week or so. I am getting rid of my Harley too. I ride a softail Deluxe and love it but after 6 hours of straight riding, feels like I am sitting on a rock and I start to ache. After test riding the Spyder - there was no pain. I'm surprised because I wasn't so sure about the riding position - forward versus laid back like on my Harley. Nice to hear from another Harley gal who said this is worth the trade!

:welcome:Still keeping the Harley but will admit I can't get off this :edit:thing took H-D to Vermont this weekend and it was like I was cheating on my :spyder: but did not want the Harley to get any abandament issues :dontknow:
