Now that Jordan is 5 months old and we STILL dont get much sleep, I have some ambitious plans for some mods on the RT.
(Yes every one is healthy, just tired from this very needy guy.) I wish I could replace my RT horn with the sounds of his bloody curdling screams!:roflblack: that would surely get people out of my way! :roflblack:
Besides some LED additions, mostly custom stuff, one project I will run by you to seek opinions. However, I do hereby say this mod is my own.
Since I usually never ride two up, I am thinking of removing the backrest between the rear speakers. Then making a highly custom large speaker insert with AMP to feed the need for large bass sound. The unit will be held in place by the three bolt hole left vacant by the seat backrest.
I still plan on using the Apline KT445 for the AMP for the other four speakers. I will then mold a custom fiberglass surround around the speaker and have its lines meet up with the existing trucnk lines. All removable if needed by those three bolts.
Options for speakers are undesided... 12" kickers? 100 amp? dont know. any ideas? Any pitfalls to stay away from?
Will I need to add a second 12v battery? (Lamonster may be able to answer this one for me.)
