• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I'm back. What'd I miss?

welcome back to spyderland and thanks for your service.:bowdown: now get the sand out of your boots and go for a long ride!:thumbup:

Welcome home, and thanks for your service! Ryde that Spyder like you stole it, you earned it !

We'll be looking for you at SpyderFest !

Welcome back and thank you for your service.

Another big issue has been faulty ball joints on some of the early 2013s. Per usual BRP was on it but a few got on the road before getting new ones installed.

The 2013s have a new front end design. I'm no mechanic but maybe Scotty could elaborate on that for you.

And we're all watching Bob hit 20,000 posts before Spyderfest!

Lets see.. you missed arguments about helmet laws. discussions on gun control, some funny jokes, pictures about cats, the delayed announcement about the owners event, issues with wheel alignent on the 2013 line..... Dave posted some stuff sometimes including pictures of Teddy. Remote control gloryders, rons sway bar. Yeah. I think thats about it.

I returned from deployment a few days ago. I rode the Spyder today for the first time in 14 months. No issues that I can tell, so my storage plan must have worked.

Can anyone give me the Cliff Notes version of what's happened in the Spyder world in the last year? I'm registered for Spyderfest and looking forward to hitting the road.

Thanks,
Joe
