• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

If they can do it for Trasformers they could do it for us

There has been a few red faced moments for me when I simply try and take off from the side of the road and the motor starts to "sputter and fart" thanks to good old "Nanny". It would be soooo nice to be able to take off with just a little wheel spin and a small fish tail. I think they have gone overboard with the sensitivity. Fast corners and getting wheels off the ground is one thing, but a little fishy as you leave the car park.
Now that just plane fun:yes:

:agree:

I would love to ride the one that Ken @ Evoluzione has--- all the VSS stuff is disabled.

Does anyone know if the VSS still works when you have the clutch pulled in?

Just think of the fun to sit and spin donuts, till so dizzy you need to :barf:ahh what a dream. I remember a after market co. toying with a dyno switch? :dontknow: Who was that?? :lecturef_smilie:Legal dept. must have got in their way... Maybe someday.....:gaah:

I took a fast turn the other day one of the wheels did come off the ground! The Spyder can't control me!

I've had a front wheel lift too, without the VSS kicking in (the bjt VSS kicked in though :D). I've also had the VSS kick in when I wasn't even close to lifting a wheel. :dontknow:

I was wondering about the clutch because of the microswitch on it. If the switch is in--- maybe the vss would assume since you are not in gear then you are okay??? bypass the switch and make it think you have it pulled in all the time???

just a thought..... probably won't work.

Can just tie off all the speed sensors and use your gps for speed.

Wiring diagram shows the clutch switch wired to the ECM, but not the VCM. Don't think it will work.
