• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I checked out the new F3 at my local dealer today. It is very nice but the only thing I really needed on my bike is the seat. It did handle better but I can wait a few more seasons before I change my RSS. Now If anyone has switched to a better seat that holds you in the bike please let me know.

Thanks

yes I will look at all of them . I will try a few local shops first so I can sit and feel the seat. I was trying to get a general feel for what others have done in the past so thanks for the feedback I will surely look at those shops also.

That seat seems really comfy at first

But it gave me a sore butt in 45 minutes, but that may have been the bolt upright / quasi ape-hanger handlebar position, who knows!

Remember..!!

they moved the gas tank up front and this allowed the lower seating position. Many good seats out there but none will make it like the F3. I have the comfort seat on our RS and this has helped us a lot...

Get with motorcycle Dave and see if he can remodel your seat to your liking.

Lamontster cut?

What are the differences besides a little deeper? The corbin seat will move you one inch closer to the handlebars, and they're VERY firm.

the corbin didn't work for me. Bound and twisted my legs up at all weird angles while pushing me into the bars. It would likely work good on an ST where your feet are out in front of you more.

Well I had use of a standard Corbin for a few days, I wasn't blown away, but in hindsight, no sore butt!
I now have a BRP "comfort seat", and it just ain't all that comfortable, maybe it will break in, I hope.
