The Spyder will ever evolve into this configuration. It would certainly add complexity and cost but the cool factor is definitely there. Thoughts?

The "you get what you pay for" rule would seem to apply here. A nice entry level machine since $5K will not get you into much of a real motorcycle these days.
These machines do not have a really good rep when it comes to mechanicals. Not sure how parts availability would be either.
A nice niche market. When I was in Hawaii, there were lots of mini scooters around. Seemed to work well there. Life is slower and more laid back. Honolulu, freeways excepted of course. :roflblack: Would not use such a machine for freeway or highway use here either.
MaybeWe saw a couple on one of those and passed the dealership when we were in Honolulu for our 50th anniversary back in September. It has novelty appeal and other than on the interstate highways (an oxymoron for HI) it may be most suitable for island speed and time.
I think he means because it's a leaner. :dontknow: It might be cool to have a leaning Spyder.
I guess I should have put my flame suit on. I was only talking about the front suspension.
No, I wouldn't ride a scooter either, or anything made in China!
Tough crowd today.
