• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Its 2017 and its winter time up here in north jersey, many of you may know how I feel ,Every time I walk in the garage past the Rt I take a glance . It pains me to no end that I have to wait another 2 months . I want to move south just so I could ride more, Just wanted to get this off my chest...thanks

Glad you got it off your chest :)
Now you did, you won't be too pissed off when I tell you that we just got back from a quick 150 mile, coffee, bagel and ice cream loop. Beautiful sunny day with a high of 68 showing on the RT's temp gauge :D
Hang in there MOSESS - soon be spring

I feel your pain, but my spyder is at a dealership ( in hibernation) in for winter storage. I also have to wait until April to ride. Spring can not here fast enough. :banghead::banghead:

It is winter here in Vermont also, we got 8/ 12 inches of snow from the storm that just went thru. Deanna

I wish I could use the weather as an excuse. Its about 65 here in Prescott Az however I have a fractured wrist and hand so riding is not on my list right now. Bummer.

I'm sorry Mosess, Maybe you can get your company to transfer you to Tennessee. It was in the high 60 to low 70's last weekend

Down here in SE AZ I racked up almost 400 miles on my new F3T in under a week! Sounds like it is time for some of you to relocate!

Want to Ride!

How about taking a two or three week vacation somewhere down south where those lucky people ride year round. I usually spend the winter( early October to late April) in Clearwater Florida. I couldn't this winter because of medical issues but spent five weeks(late October & all of November) down there and put many miles on my 2012RT. Headed back down the end of this month for another five weeks. This is the first winter in the last twelve I haven't been there for the whole winter! Man , I miss it!:)

If I didn't have my ATV, I'd be going crazy, too. I park the two together in my horse barn, so I walk past them several times a day, and when I take off on the quad, I give the Spyder a reassuring pat that it'll be her in a couple months. I rode the quad for an hour yesterday, and 2 hours today. I'm lucky to have my own fields to charge around in, as well as our network of dirt roads, which are so totally pot-holed and soupy right now that even the ATV is challenged. I deliver eggs to my customers, and with this warm winter wrecking our roads more than usual, I can barely get around in my truck, so I'm delivering via my ATV. The Spyder wouldn't make it to the end of our 500' driveway right about now! Hurry up, Spring!!!!

Roger?

Remind me to kick your butt the next time I see you Roger.::

If Roger is "HayRog" - he of the "quick 150 mile, coffee, bagel and ice cream loop," I'm right
behind you in the "Kick Roger In The Butt" line....

Until then, this is Roger gettin' his......
:bdh:

What am I missing? I've been riding to work for the last three weeks, here in Northwest Oregon. Yesterday morning the temp read 37 and there was frost along the side of the road. I do use the heated grips and seat, had them on "high". I figure Can-Am has been building snow machines for decades, and they know how to keep riders comfortable.

Yes i want to ride

Well thank you guys. some of you are retired like myself, Wife is still working and she loves NJ, so moving south would most likely be a part time deal. We have been looking at Fl , We like the beach's. I don't ride when its cold, its to much of a hassle. all the gear you have to put on, I had to vent and I am not upset at the least with any one that can enjoy getting out for a ride. Maybe you guys that can get out post a short vid of your rides to help us out....

Just remember

California is just like Florida, except we have better weather, and fewer trailer parks and tweekers!:yes::yes:

A tough time of the year for sure. The count down is on for me. Forty-five days until March 31. Then its riding time, (give or take a couple of weeks). I am in the country a bit so my road is shaded by mountains. It always takes a couple weeks for me to get out of here when the clear roads are less than a half mile away. I tough it out--but it is not easy.:yes:

Bummer...

Have to say that I am slowly forgetting the feeling after moving here to the southern most point in the southwest....but when I see posts like this is does come back some....:joke:

well here in central NJ i just use the heated liner and gloves blocked the heat exhaust and the only time i haven't ridden is when it snowed even rode monday with the winds just out ran them LOL
