• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I want this trailer! Oh and the wife in high heels!

Talking about Ladies wearing high-heels whilst doing drudgery...

Think her heels were chewed up walking through all that gravel. :lecturef_smilie:

Bob, your just a "puppy" I was a Freshman in College in 1959. Or, I was a fresh man.

Great add. If it were still made I would bet they would sell to Spyder Owners.

Jack

I still consider myself a fresh man....

But with that said.... seems many generations are around living well, where 100 years ago it was rare.

From any generation you can learn something if you are willing to listen.
With so many around now, seems more should be listening! Including me.....

1959...
Well; I was out of diapers, and had a new Baby Brother in my way... :banghead:
(Gotcha by just 3 years...)
And I hope that you never quite catch up to me!

The helmet were approved some British agency with a little label inside. They used to be called "pudding bowls". The Europeans do have very light weight caravans because most of the cars of this era had very small engines. Around that time, you were required to take your trailer and tow vehicle to a check point to get a permit to tow it on the highway.
I reenlisted in the USAF for the first time in 1959.

2 adults have helmets nothing for the kid.

WHAT :dontknow:
Nobody would have thought of that back then. I don't think they had helmets for children in the 50's. Even bicycle helmets would not have been used for another 15-20 years. Times were much simpler then.

Hi Oldmanzues,

Re: I reenlisted in the USAF for the first time in 1959.

I enlisted in the USAF for the 'only' time in 1959. A skinny 19 yr old; oh, to be that thin once again. :sour:

The scooter is a 1958 Lambretta LI 150. Used to use a 25:1 ratio fuel to oil which was added by hand when filling
with gas. They all smoked! I used to add a tablespoonful of Castrol 'R' to the mix just for the old fashioned
racing oil smell! But then again I did have a Lambretta GT 200!! 70mph from stock...maybe 85 with lots of mods!

It has been a very long time, since I was as slim as I was that day when I enlisted. I went on to a 28 year career in USAF. the retirement pay and medical stuff is very good. Stay nowadays ????????????

Back when men were men and the women didn't have to have their hair and nails done every three days! Yea I liked it then. Today it's hard to tell some of the men from women and some of the women from men. What a confusing time we live in.
