I'm a new and first time owner of a :spyder2: 2011 Limited. You have a spyderfest? YAY Somewhere to go and not be looked at like I dropped off of Mars. :shocked: Can someone give me the details please?

There are several Spyder events each year. Spyderfest is held at Cowtown USA, in Cuba MO, and has already been held for this year. The annual BRP Spyder Owners' event is being held in Maggie Valley, NC, this fri-Sun, with Lamonster's BBQ the day before. Spyders in the Adirondacks has taken the place of Spyders in the Smokies this year, and is being held July 28-30. Lots of Spyders at any of these fine events.

Taking the wife to the airport in about 30 min. and I'll be on my own. I know this is going to be a great time and I can't wait. :yes::2excited:
The weather this week will be a little cooler by about 10 degrees for the Maggie Valley Owners Event and Lamonster BBQ. There may be a few thunder storms but not enough to be concerned about. There will be quite a few folks showing up today and I have a group showing up at my place tomorrow. I'm trying to setup a live webcam for the BBQ but ran into some snags but I have an expert coming over tomorrow that says he can get me hooked up. When and if we get it going I'll post a link here for all to see. Should have well over 300 folks here for the BBQ and lots of Spyders just like last year. Looking forward to seeing all you SpyderLovers there!

We have a snake relocation program in effect now, problem is this is where we relocate them.

When you're driving on Old Kentucky Rd West look for this on the left side of my driveway.

This will be on the pole on the right side.

As you go up the driveway cage parking will be to your left and ditch jumping will be to your right. :yikes:

I would like to keep the driveway clear for the BBQ guys so park in the grass to the right of the driveway if you're on your Spyder. If you're on a bike just look for a flat spot anywhere. :doorag:

I for sure could have got some great testing in this year, new penske rear shock would have shaved a few minutes off the the tail.

I know the rain was a bummer for you guys yesterday, Brian and Deb showed up soaked and cold and Chris (Patches) had to leave in the rain but it did slow down a bit before he took off.

We got the webcam working but it was no easy deal and right now it only seems to work with FireFox browser, Chris was going to work on that. I setup the camera on a tripod this morning but for some reason the feed is dead so I'm not sure if Chris took it off line last night to work on it or what. It was funny last night when I was sitting in the office getting some work done the camera started looking all around the room, I guess Chris was playing with the remote :2thumbs:

Went to bed about 12:30am and woke up wide awake at 3:00am remembering that the Porta Potty guy never called me back yesterday to confirm delivery. I'll be calling him here about a couple of hours.

Looking at the radar it looks like it's going to be a great day, no storms systems in sight. :thumbup:

I hope everyone has a great day today, for me the temptation that has pulling at me all week is gone because at this hour no matter how fast I ran I would not be able to make it in time. Everyone have a safe day and I hope next year my schedule works out better.

I feel the same way. I truely wish i was at the bbq. I agreed to help in a hometown kiwanis car show function this weekend. Everyone have a terrific time. See ya all at the Spyderfest in 2012.
