• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I should learn to stay out of Spyder dealers

We stopped in Clearwater's Westcoast Powersports, just to look around. I should have known better. I now own this 2018 RT Ltd. My last Spyder was a 2010 RT (see avitar), and the changes are amazing. A different and wholly better bike.

Congrats on your new scooter ..!

That is a great look with the blacked out lights. I was thee yesterday for service, maybe we crossed path. If you need help with the new BRP connect system, Jason (their service tech) will be able to help you since he has worked with me quite a bit on mine. There is a learning curve to deal with for sure, but be patient. It will come with time like mine is doing. Congratulations.......

Congrats,

good for you.
A few years back I asked my wife to stop and get some sled oil. An hour later we bought two new left over snowmobiles.

Did you stop in with the wife? :-) Or did you ryde home, and surprise her? Some wives are not overly impressed with large, unannounced purchases. And some are completely amenable, happy, and enthusiastic.

:congrats: on the new ride. With the 2010, I guess you were due for an update. We still have a 2011 with 28K along with the 2014.

No updates for us this year.

Very nice ,love the color . I have the same in blue .

Noticed the rear tire on my Wife's 2013 RT L was worn out when we were in Springfield, Mo earlier this month. Stopped by the local Spyder dealer for a new tire and accidentally stumbled upon the SpiderFest. Wife sat on a purple/black 2017 F3 L while we were there, needless to say she rode back to Texas on a new trike.

My friend just bought the same bike yesterday. Today we were doing some comparing to my 2017 RT. Among the many changes is the fact that the passenger stereo controls work for everything, not just the CB

Thanks, I will talk to Jason. I am struggling with it as we speak.

Yes, my wife was with me, and we left without buying the bike, but as we talked about it we decided that the deal was too good to pass up. BRP threw in some money, and the dealership sweetened the deal a little more, so we bit. It's good to be back on a Spyder...

Wife is the reason we bought it. I said no initially, but she convinced me that I really needed it :-)
