I need to find an alternative to the dealership for routine maintenance

When I was shopping for my Spyder, I checked out, and test rode, a Spyder there. I almost bought it there till I got a quote from iMotorsports.

I didn't like the buying experience at iMotorsports but the price was right at least.

I live in Rockford, IL, which is in the north central part of the state about 15 miles south of WI.

Value Accessories is in Ohio. They may service the Spyders. Rick and his wife are nice people.

That's well over 600 miles and 4.5 hours from Rockford, IL. Not exactly local.

As a Died in the Wool DIYer I have found we always think dealer prices are too high, which is why we became DIY to begin with,oh and besides liking to do it.

My Dealer changed the oil, checked out the reverse problem I was having (fixed it), and did a safety check for $350. I thought that a fair price.

I'm curious what your "reverse problem" was. An issue with the controls, low oil, something else?
