• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I missed out!

Well, long story short one of my friends thought he wanted a spyder so went and bought a 2013 RSS SE5 about 3 weeks ago for 19,990 out the door. 8 days in and 300 miles later he decided he didn't like it and traded it in at the local Chevy dealer on a Tahoe. They have him $12,500 trade in. OUCH! Well after reading a thread a couple of days ago about changing the handlebars for ST handlebars I thought why not sell mine and by this one to get cruise, new brakes, wheels, etc. figured I could get it around 14,000. Called my friend at the dealer a little while ago to find out they sold it this am for $13,500. Somebody got a deal!! Too bad it wasn't me. Guess I will just have to wait on a good deal on an ST

:gaah: A day late, and a dollar short... :gaah:
It's too bad that you didn't get a chance at this one!
Maybe he won't like the Tahoe either!:thumbup:

Bummer..!!

you snooze you lose. With deals like that you can't think twice even if you just resold it, at that price killer..good luck next time..keep an eye open...

Damn, he should feel that pain for a while, got raked over the coals. Sorry you didn't get the bike, cruise is awesome.

Just found out it was a church member of mine and a good guy that needed a spyder to be able to ride and been waiting to find a good deal. Happy it went to somebody good. I really want an ST anyway so will wait on a good deal on an ST. Enjoying my RS until then

I say this in all seriousness: you need to always ask your friend to pick up the bar tab, bet he won't even look at the bill! :joke:

Honestly, I'm just... just speechless. Who does this??

Sorry you didn't get it, but very glad to hear that someone who really needed it was able to pick it up for a great price. Best of luck with finding a good deal when you are ready to buy your ST.
