I grew up with Dinky toys about 3" big and had a great time. I now spend hours in toy stores and marveling at the toys of today. We flew U control airplanes and could only dream of a remote control. I sadly watch kid destroy them but well thats the way that it is. This was fun I had not seen these but have watched the big airplane models fling....thanks..:bowdown:

Actually, I think this is probably the largest 'RC' airplane, the QF-4 target drone. It is being replaced with the QF-16 target drone.

I thought y'all would appreciate the 'real thing' flying unmanned.

What some dont know is to help keep the event to scale, is not just the machines, they have to measure calculate & sift the dirt to same scale as the machines. Lot harder than it sounds but gives you perspective of how powerful the full size machines are. Quite Impressive for fun

Was riding with a guy who owns Otto Trucking. (340 Semi's) He said that there is a big push for driverless trucks to be on the Highways within the next 10-15 years. Yes DRIVER LESS trucks. That my friends is damn scary. They are already testing driverless cars in CA.

Right now we have Fighters and Bombers operating in the far east being controlled from Nellis AFB and other locations. Hard to believe.

Remote control is coming and has been a reality.

I even take calls now on my Apple watch. Never thought Dick Tracy would become a reality either.
