• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I know this has made the rounds but....

I know their are several posts about front tire noise but from 40mph to about 45mph my new RT-S makes a screeching sound on the right front tire. Dealer said it was the tire but didn't seen concerned about it. Should I be concerned? Has anyone else had this problem? My dealer is very respected in our area and has always been on the up and up.

If he tells you that, "They all do that"; poke him right in the eye! :gaah:
They don't!
If by "New"; you mean that it's still under warranty: insist that he fix it. nojoke

As Bob said, they certainly DO NOT 'all do that'!! :sour:

Can you describe the where & why of the noise a bit more?? Could it be a wheel bearing or the brake rotor?? Or is it a rubber scrubbing noise that happens only when you turn, or maybe a rubber squealing noise only when you turn one way?? The first of those rubbery noises could be poor wheel alignment; the second could be incorrect tire mounting or pressure, but in both cases, there are other things they could be besides the easy answers.

It is a.high pitched whine and it starts at about 39 mph and lasts until about 45 mph then stops. It drives fine and was laser alighted. Some have said it was brakes vibrating. I will not be able to pick it up until Monday but I think we will have a long talk.

Interesting. ...

May be the belt...try a pea size dab of grease on the center of the rear sproket... but have them check belt tension and alignment...

:agree: Sometimes, it's tough to figure out where the noise is coming from... nojoke
The belt can always be considered as a potential culprit, when strange noises appear.. :yikes:

:agree: if that noise happens all the time, or even most of the time, there is something that needs attention.
