• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I just took it in for my 13,000 maintenance:

This is what I'm having done to my 2012 RT:
  • 1. Three New Tires (Yes, I still have a few thousand left on my front tires, but I like to carve the mountain twisties. So, I really need new ones.
  • 2. Oil Change along with both oil filters.
  • 3. Change Air Filter
  • 4. If less than 50% remain: New Brake Pads Front and Rear...(see #1 about the twisties)
  • 5. Wheel Alignment
  • 6. Belt Alignment
  • 7. Coolant Change
  • 8. Increase pre-load on front shocks by one notch.
  • 9. Change Gas Filter
  • 10. Install upgraded Spark Plug Wires
  • 11. Check gap on Spark Plugs
  • 12. Check for Valve Adjustment

Well interesting. Your at 13,000 and I see the cam shafts and valve buckets are out.
This means that your getting a valve adjustment! No need to remove those to just check the valve clearance.

If this is true your one of the few that needed a valve adjusment at 13,000.

You might ask the dealer how much they had to shim out to get the adjustment right again.
Could mean some valve seat issues are on the horizon.

That's just a photo....not my spyder....I was looking for a photo of a hot girl working on a spyder, but I had to settle for this one.

:D I like your sense of style! :2thumbs:

Good Luck on all of the servicing! I hope that they don't find anything wrong up under her skirts!

Great..!!

you will be ready for those twisties for sure...why wait your there get it done..!! :2thumbs:

I only gotta pay to take the Tupperware off once. And since you have to take off the air box to check the valves, that is a good time to change the gas and air filters, and upgrade the spark plug wires.

Tires are because the rear one is needed, and the front ones are 75% worn. I carve a lot of mountain twisties so I want good tires. Brakes are easily accessible when the tires are off, so that is a good time to do them.
