Today I went to ProCaliber Longview to pick up my 2011 RT-S Limited. I bought it from a guy in California that had a heart attack and only rode it 250 miles. I had it shipped to the dealer for pickup and they were happy to store it while I was away on vacation. While there they did a couple of recalls, one a throttle body and the other a brake pin issue. They also did a spring checkout with an oil change for $110. They went over the bike with me before I rode away as well as filling it up with gas (it was shipped empty) for $0. That is service! The bike came with all documentation as well as a welcome kit inviting me to a owners get together on June 20-22, 2012 in Durango, Colorado, owners pin & Patch as well as mini brochures to hand out. It came with luggage, cover, and GPS. The previous owner included two brand new BRP Caliber jackets still with tags on. One is mens large and the other is a ladies 3X. I will sell both of these as they are too big for myself and my wife. He also threw in two new inexpensive helmets which I will also try and sell.
The ride home was about 50 miles and I had great time. Had a bit of rain the final three miles but it went well. I noticed the fuel gauge bouncing so I will probably disconnect the gauges as soon as I find out how! I also have the heat shield from Spyderpops to install. Sitting beside it in my garage is a 2011 Apsen Sentry trailer as well as a factory RT hitch and wiring harness which I purchased before I went on vacation. Once she is broke in, I will get the wiring done and try out camping. To bad it is too late for Spyderfest for this year!
