• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I had a hard time restraining myself...

...from hollering "You just got passed by a GIRL on a SPYDER!" every time I passed someone on the interstate today.:ohyea::yes: Beautiful weather for riding...still no sign of Ed's bike, unfortunately. I set a new record on the Spyder today (81, but don't tell Ed!) He was behind me in the pickup truck after we stopped at Sam's for a few things. All of a sudden I didn't see him in my rearview mirror...glanced down at the speedometer and saw 81! Yikes!

If anyone asks, just say you were pushing buttons and somehow changed the display to KPH and you were only going 50.3311 MPH...honest mistake.

I know that feeling :ohyea: Butch likes to say that he is my anchor...slowing me down and preventing me from getting tickets! It is fun now and then to zip along isn't it!!!

I like that one! Doubt it would work, particularly if the LEO stopping me asked to see the display and it was obviously in MPH!

While tooling along at 70 mph on I-475 in Macon, I saw the H-D bagger coming up behind me. Not knowing what kind of reception I'd get from some macho, Harley riders, I merely threw up a wave as the bike entered my left-rear zone in the fast lane. Well, no wave was returned and the bagger rolled on it with an obvious change in exhaust tone and acceleration, as if to say, "Take this!". I looked over as the bike passed and saw that the rider was a female with a long braid extending from beneath her helmet. She and the bike looked good going up the highway, but I knew that the H-D bagger in my garage would easily shut hers down. Lots of room on the highway for all kinds of scoots, but little room for attitude.
