• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I got the Cranker Tank Bag

Looks nice. Gotta do install today - looks like it can be strapped to the Spyder easily. When I do it I'll take pics to show ya.

Seems loud enough but the Spyder wasn't running when I cranked it. I think it will work because the speaker is right below in front of the seat so I'll be able to hear it. Not sure about highway speeds though but then I'll wear a 3/4 with my earphones. Normally we don't take the highway alot - it's pretty ugly in CT, back roads are nicer.

So I can hook this up to my mp3 player or my Droid and I should be ok. I rode w/ earbuds and a shorty last weekend - My Spyder is loud and w/ th earbuds I could only hear my music. I didn't like the feeling though, not being able to hear stuff around me.

Not sure if I'll be ryding this weekend - weather is cr@ppy. So might have to wait for a test ryde.

Is there anyway of adding a booster to it? Checkout an audio store and see if they can do something to give you more sound.

Got a place here called Summer Sounds. They can do anything and everything with sound systems, for cars, bikes, boats and Jet Ski's.

Yeah, I've got a booster already - really don't need it though. I think if I were to use it, I'd blow the speaker! I'm already wondering if I can take this speaker out and put a bigger one in. The amp is a standard one and I bet I can take that out and get a better one. But I'll try it once it's in and see. The bad is perfect - good storage. I could actually get another tip for my pipe to quiet it down some - even w/out the tunes, I should tone it down a bit - it is just crazy loud. I can keep it calm if I don't wamp on it, which I don't (unless I'm going under an overpass and then it sounds so cool) but I won't be rude driving thru neighborhoods doing that.

I'm sure I'll be able to hear it on our back country road rydes but highway - doubt it but that is usually when I wear a full face or 3/4 - I have headphones built into the helmet for that.

HDX is doing the final install now, I'll take pics when finished.
