• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

This must be the first prototype of our beloved Spyder...from the late 1800's, a one cylinder, 2 hp reverse trike :roflblack::roflblack:...the frunk (sorry, Firefly...gotta use the term) wasn't an enclosed space ... or is that where the passenger went? :yikes:

Nanny? It would have been the mother in law chasing you with a whip, yelling to get off that darn contraption and get back to the barn and finish the chores. :roflblack:

Nice picture though.

I think that rear fender is what Lamont had in mind when he welded the new one on the back of his RT!

:roflblack:

Doc, did your findings say where it is displayed? Looks like a room full of history.

Thanks for posting it.

Thanks for posting this. I would see where if posible.
It would be interesting to go the local Wal-Mart to obtain a new leather drive belt. No waiting for parts

It was in the National Automobile Museum in Reno...lots of history there, for sure. A friend (not a Spyder rider) sent it to me when she spotted it there. It's an 1897 Leon Bollee, made in France.
