• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I fixed my thermite mixer

I have a 2015 RT-S. I started to leave the house. Spyder started as usual, but halfway down the driveway the engine just quit. I tried to restart it but no joy. I didn't have time to play with it right then and there. The code P0000 was showing. I came back to it later in the day. I talked to a few people and I figured it must be the thermite mixer not working. Now getting to this item was difficult. I took two layers of tupperware off. I removed the windshield and the entire dashboard. Now this is where it got confusing because the owner's manual wasn't very clear. But I did what it said and removed the right front wheel and the rear drive wheel. Why, not a clue. Finally I removed the battery and somewhere down below i found the thermite mixer. I quickly saw the problem. Somehow the wires to this mixer got spliced into the brake light. I removed the brake light and I also removed the brake, why not. I rewired the thermite mixer. Well I got everything back together except for 5 or 6 pieces of tupperware, a few bolts and screws. I stepped back and looked at my Spyder and it looked pretty good. Except it was tipped to one side. Somehow I put a big wheel on the front right and a tiny wheel in the back I does sit lower. Oh yeah then there's the American Flag placed where the foot brake was located. But guess what, yup, it started right up. Rides a little rough.

Now can someone guess what was really wrong....Harvey Clark no telling

By the way, I did figure it out by myself!

:congrats: Sounds like you are getting the :ani29: figured out. They do that some times.

POOO? I think the :spyder2: was trying to tell us something. :roflblack::roflblack:

Was your gremlin bell working? Since you had to remove the right tire, a gremlin might have bit your Spyder from that side! :doorag:

Hmmmm... sounds like the thermite mixer caused a stuck kanootin valve which makes the kill switch activate, and if not taken care of immediately it will make your muffler bearings go out in the long run!!!:thumbup:

Fluids

It is my humble opnion that the blinker fulid has run low and being that it's a few months old ---- it needs to be flushed and refilled.

Running low on blinker fluid can cause:::::::
Kaos

PS::: bumped the kill switch???

Sounds to me like a sure case of fuel in your gas tank OR exhaust gases leaking out of your muffler. When that happened to me, I fixed the issue by eating a large dish of ice cream.

I'm unable to make a determination of the problem because your story did not start with "But Honey, it was making this funny noise and then ..........". Had you included that, I would have known that it was due to the nitrogen you put into the tires.

Thermite mixer

someone got it right. Yup I bumped the kill switch as I was heading down the driveway. As I approached the bike I said to myself, self could I have bumped the kill switch...yes I did
