• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I finally got them!

My Top shock mount relocation brackets from PitBull PowerSprts have arrived!:2excited:
Thanks to Vanessa and Jim for putting up with me during the ordering process; they've got it all worked out now, so the rest of you can now order with the highest of confidence! :2thumbs:
Now it's time to get my courage screwed on good and tight...

Relax a bit..!!

They go on easy. Remove as much as you can to make it easier on the knuckles. On the RS the rectifier on the left frame is in the way but RT may be different. Take your time and enjoy the change in handling...

Hope your wife wasn't home when the delivery guy showed up. :yikes:

They USPSed them to me so that the UPS driver wouldn't be a witness to any crimes...
No trailer; I'm brimming with....

Well I've been staring at them for about an hour here... (She's out this afternoon...)
Any good advice on how to proceed?

Since it appears that my options are limited in this regard; I'm stuck with installing them with the frunk in place...
Does anybody have any advice as to what size hand-powered tools do the best job of reaching in there?

No power tools. Just a wrench and a ratchet & socket. Do not tighten anything until all the bolts are in! This was one of my learning experiences.

put your hands on a diet

I had them installed at Lamonts BBQ THAT WAS EASY. but I watched them do it and they just poped them in took about a half hour . I think they had some practice.

relocators install

bob, I installed mine in about hour and half with breaks, if you can get it up in the air a little it will really help your back also make sure you check for wires pinched when you tighten things up

As the Swampman says "Here we go". Remember Bob is the guy who took 2 days to put his swaybar link on :roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:

Hope the install goes well. I have been procrastinating just putting new batteries in my glo ryders. We have a pair going for us if I count one on each :spyder2: that is working. :roflblack:

What combination of wrenches and ratchets did you use?

The best combination is find two that fit the bolt and nut, then put one in one hand and the other in the other hand and twist in opposite directions. :roflblack: :roflblack:

Got to be quick though! This is where I got busted by the boss last switching out my shocks.:roflblack::roflblack::roflblack: Wish I had my re-locators then. I could have begged for mercy once. Now, I just have to get busted againnojoke
