• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I need a photo on the underside of a 2014/2015 CanAm RT 1330 model. Anyone that has had their bike elevated and has a photo of it please post it here.

Thanks

I took a few when I installed the BajaRon Swaybar

:D I've always referred to the process of examining the bike underneath it's Tupperware, as:
"Peeking under it's skirts"
But it was tough; trying to find the picture that showed enough... but not TOO much!

What specifically are you looking for?

Well this isn't the direction I expected the post to go. I have a J&S jack and ordered the Cam Am Spyder adapter that they sell. I cannot seem to figure where the contact points rest on the underside. They sent me several pics but they seem to be on a 998 RS which looks different that the 1330 RT. I was looking for a photo that shows the role underside such as this.

Here's some pics when installed bumpskid and BajaRon Sway Bar

Here's some pics when installed bumpskid and BajaRon Sway Bar. Good luck - hope it helps! I always block up the bike when using the jack with ramps, wood blocks, etc. for an additional level of safety when working on it while lifted!

 Not if I expect to stick around... :yikes:

But I AM sorry that I pulled this thread so far off-course... :opps: Finding the right lift-point for the bikes is a pretty big deal.

But the photos had already been posted, and that question WAS asked...

This picture was taken from the left side (as sitting on the spyder). The jack arm is as far back as it can go without it resting on the exhaust and exhaust spring. I'm using an air over hydraulic Pitbull jack.

While I wouldn't mind checking out the jack points on that red rider Bob posted this may be more what your looking for.

Just heard from the folks at J&S jacks and they are developing a jack adapter designed especially for the 14/15 RT. It should designed and tested in a few weeks. At that time I will return the spyder (RS) adapter I bought and they will ship me one (RT) especially for my bike. Fingers crossed!!
