There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.
I Am Amazed no one has mentioned the 'New Look' site!

The "quote" button is the "Reply" in the lower right next to the "Like".

Just click on or hover your pointer over the username to the left of the post and you'll see all the usual info.Very good graphics and enlarged print is great. I miss seeing the poster/member's location though.

If you're still on the 'white & blue' page, look down in the bottom left-hand corner & find the little paintbrush with 'Default style' alongside it. Click there; then head right, across the page, until you find 'Tactical'; click on that, and you'll change the screen to a lovely black with lotsa orange & some other appalling colour highlights!
I tried it, but I hadta change back when my eyeballs started bleeding so much that I couldn't see the screen!! Personally, I think the 'white & blue' Default is the lesser of two weevils!

Different strokes for different folks. The dark background, white text is better for these old eyes. Thank you for giving us the option. The white background was washing the lighter text out for me. this new forum comes up to the discussion page, which is the headlines of topics. Click on the "What's New" header icon, and you will have the up to date posts
