There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I admit it.......

I've been looking at these: http://sturgistrike.com/models/

Why?? Any competent Honda dealer can service one and the base bike can be any 2001 or later Goldwing or Valkyrie with ABS,
although the Valk doesn't come with a reverse gear. Legendary Honda reliability is also a plus...

:D Everybody peeks over the fence...
I was looking at the Hannigan conversions this past weekend, so I'm just as guilty! :opps:

Still....

It would be a lot nicer if they could fix the rear section to house a larger auto type rear wheel. It still looks like a motorcycle pushing an auto front end....:dontknow:

Putting an automotive rear tire on a Goldwing is very common and no trouble at all. Many who are still on two wheels do it for longer wear, more traction, and increased load capacity. I like the body design, better then the Motor Trike, or the Hannigan. If you already have one of these bikes this might be the way to go when the 2 wheel time ends, as it will for all of us one day. If you have to buy the Goldwing then the kit and then have it installed, that going to get pretty pricey. Still I think it is a viable option for those not wanting a Spyder but like the dual front wheels.

I don't know if the Sturgis model offers a trunk or not...
It's an option on the Hannigan
And it's standard on the Motor-Trike.

It's okay to look. Sometimes we even buy. I did get mine from the :spyder:dealer though.

Waiting for my accessories to arrive and get installed.

Maybe ask your Honda dealer when all the new models will be posted. Maybe 2018 is the release of the Neowing, or a version based on it.
A SMART Dealer will never tell you anything about what might be coming. They've got product on the showroom floor, that they need to sell now! nojoke

:D I think that a lot of folks might agree with you... :2thumbs:
But I still like the BRP design and features... pending some worthwhile improvements: of course!

'Kay... the conversion kit is made in Holland and a car tyre on the rear is installed when the Honda dealer builds
your bike for you....each one is built to your spec, so a huge variety of options is available. I have to say that I really
like the Valk version despite the fact that there's no reverse. All of them are of course manual gear change but that really
isn't too much of a problem. The biggest advantage price-wise is that you're free to choose a used bike as a base and of
course there's a great many Wings and Valks available with very low mileages here in the UK. The only proviso is that the
donor bike must have ABS. So you can get a great donor bike for less than £6000 ( $7500 ) and the cost of the build and the
kit is £13000ish ($ c. 15K). They apparently handle very well and I have been invited to test drive one for a week-end at the
end of August....so it looks as if I'll be popping up to Yorkshire for a long week-end! Bottom line: 1800cc 6cylinder motor which
is very flexible and thus could be fast when you need it to be but a lazy, effortless ride when you're just puttin' around.
The Sturgis kit IS available in the US of A, I'm given to understand.....As many of you have noticed, it's a good lookin' trike!!

Going up to "The Frozen North" ( Keighley in Yorkshire) at the end of August to take one out for a day or two.

There is another advantage to this option. The donor bike can be any 'Wing or Valk with ABS later than 2001.
We have an awful lot of "as new" low mileage pre-owned 'Wings over here starting at around $5000, add to that
$15000 for the conversion and you have a nice reliable trike with more power than you're likely to use that can be
serviced at hundreds of Honda main dealers.
Cons: No auto transmission. Standard 'Wing braking.
The guy I spoke with said that they would transport any donor bike that I found to their shop for the conversion if
I was unable to ride it there. It would be evaluated and serviced prior to the conversion which is nice.
Also if I wanted they could source a donor bike for me, but would probably buy from other Honda dealers.

 Wow! They ARE making it easy to jump back aboard Honda's Mothership; aren't they?
Please keep us posted as to what happens next: good luck, and happy shopping! :D

A guy at Spyderquest a few years ago had one. He said it rode really well, but it doesn't have any traction control. So, you have to watch yourself in the corners. Otherwise, you will find yourself in the ditch. Other than that, once you learn how to ride it properly, it is a real fun ride.

It would be a lot nicer if they could fix the rear section to house a larger auto type rear wheel. It still looks like a motorcycle pushing an auto front end....:dontknow:

Hi Chupaca.....It's an integral part of the conversion.
