• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hurricane Michael

Looks like we're in the direct path of Michael, don't know which side or if it'll be a direct hit. I don't live on the beach or in other mandatory evacuation areas so I'll be riding it out at home. Local reports say the worst time will be from 9am to 9pm. Will be monitoring/posting as long as I have power. Dale

I hear ya Dale. Riding it out here on the beach but 33' above sea level. Not worried about storm surge as much as the wind. We're buttoned down tight but it's gonna be crazy.

Let me know if you need any help.

We'll be keeping you all in our thoughts and prayers...

But why not just leave?
Is it really worth risking your lives?

If things get really ugly: what could you do at that moment; that would make a difference?

Please be safe!

Thanks for all of the prayers and well wishes. Barry, I believe you will be more in harms way on the beach-good luck to you also. Will update. Dale

Watching this on TV and thinking of you all in Florida. This is getting really ugly.:pray::pray::pray::pray:

we pulled the eject handle at 6AM because it just kept growing and no clear path. now in Spanish Fort, AL.

my poor beach town getting hammered

YES! BE SAFE. This one looks like its going to be a really bad one. To late to evac once the storm hits.

Our thoughts and :pray: to all who will be affected.

I've seen video

Of the aftermath of Hurricane Michael's path through Florida. Reminds me a lot of the video taken after the A Bombs were dropped on Japan. total devastation.

Just saw the first pictures of the damage at Tyndall AFB. Worse than I could ever imagine. We haven't heard back from the OP yet. I imagine he is without power. Hope that is the extent of it.....:pray::pray::pray::pray:

Remnants on top of us right now in Va. a little wind and a little rain. Missed us again.

Feel bad for Mexico Beach and Panama City area, looks real bad near the coast.
