Hey, everyone! Thank you so much for the nice words about the videos and writeups. It's sad, but true. The marketing is evolving without two of us. I was waiting to say something once some sort of official announcement was made, but it looks like the cat's out of the bag, so I'll say it here.
The time I spent as an ambassador was a dream come true, and I've said it many times, but the best part of the whole experience was the people I met, starting right here on this board. The very first people to welcome me into the Spyder family came from here, and within hours of the announcement of winning the contest, I had invitations in my inbox if I ever needed a place to stay. That experience was multiplied, event after event, and meeting so many fantastic people in person. When I won, I thought it would only be for six months. It went on a year longer than that, and I got to experience several bucket list kind of adventures because of it. So, even though I'm sad it's over, I have to say that it was a heck of a ride. There were many times, starting from the moment we met, where Faran and I would look at each other in disbelief that we had this opportunity. It was never lost on us for a moment how lucky we were.
I'll still be around, of course, as part of the Spyderlovers family and still making some videos from time to time. I'm not a hundred per cent sure if it's going to happen yet, but God willing, I'll be at Spyderfest. In the meantime, I'm out here in California chasing my other dream of one day showing up on a tv or movie screen near you.
Thank you guys so much for everything. This is a beautiful community of people. Here's to riding with you again in the future, happy trails!
