How's your Frunk?

How do you organize your frunk? I am posting this in the ST-S section because apparently not all Spyder frunks are the same.

Do you have an organizer, plain bag, liner, lights...????

Currently mine is still plain with no liner hard plastic. I have a ice chest soft sided bag I use to store things, but it seems there's more to it.

Let's see what you have...post pics if you can. :ani29:

Nothing to see...

Piece of carpet at the bottom. Velcroed cable lock above the power outlet and the rest neatly packed in.
Compressor and plug kit, first aid kit, Qt of oil, bottled water, antigravity power pack, tool kit.
sweatshirt, two scarfs, socks, wind/rain coat, two fullface and two beany underhelmet protectors, towel, tissues.
GPS, folding cane, one pair flip flops, two baseball caps, extra gloves.
With all that still have room for two pair gloves, two light ryding jackets and one helmet...:thumbup: lots of room there on the RS frunk...

We have the BRP liner in one and no liner in the other. Both frunks are always a jumbled mess as we just throw in the "stuff" haphazardly.

Stuff:

:ani29:: One quart of oil in the 2011, non needed in the 2014.
:ani29:: Alternate gloves for rain or weather change.
:ani29:: Bottle of drinking water
:ani29:: Windshield spray (usually a mix of Hydrogen peroxide and water). Been told, don't use windex. Bandana to wipe the windshield down so as not to scratch.
:ani29:: Tool roll, locktite, torx set, a couple extra tools.
:ani29:: Owners manual, spare fuses.
:ani29:: Extra riding gear depending on weather of the day.

Were I to be inspected by the neatness police, I would be given a ticket. :thumbup:

Mine is haphazardly filed with the normal stuff, and junk, it seams to get deeper as the riding season progresses. :dontknow: Yea I have a liner. A friend of mine has a Lock Box attached to the back wall, for small arms and amo. :shocked:

Used the luggage in mine for first time this last weekend trip. 2 days worth of clothing for the wife and I. Works really well. Nothing else, just the owners manual tucked behind the liner.

Of course the side bags and rear cargo were full as well. :2thumbs:

charges all electronics (phones, gps, computers, etc) flash light and jumps cars, light trucks and bikes..great unit...:thumbup:

redneck for now but looking into getting spyder pockets or making my own. Very handy how velcro sticks to the cargo liner. Lots can be done.

Sounds like mine, but my own hairbrush.

Also have a standard vinyl shower curtain, with those clips you can use at the beach (to secure your towel to a chair) - I use in rainy weather to keep the dash to seat dry.

When I am on the road Jean Jacket( depending on the weather) and other stuff, 2014RTS-SE6 Owners/ Roadside Assistance Manual in Zippered pouch.

Have smart phone with video and a go-pro but not that familiar with the whole up loading thing. It is all in there and a few other things I'm sure...(wife keeps tosding things in...:roflblack::roflblack:

F3-S FRUNK

here's how i organize my new F3-S Frunk....
i made a 'False Bottom' out of Press Board

which fits frunk configuration and sit on the inside edges of the frunk

and i placed a Mini-Air Pump, Tire Repair Kit, Cable Lock, 1 qt oil, and a rag...

works great... but i really do miss all the room my RS has in her frunk...

don't forget the frunk lid

I've glued a $2-shop "organiser" to the inside of the frunk lid - one of those they sell to hang over the back of a headrest in a car - lots of little pockets just perfect for gps, sunglasses, insect repellent, neck scarf & etc. The only issue is that if I put too much in the organiser the frunk doesn't want to close over the helmet, so a little reorganisation and it's all good to go. Best cheap add-on I've done. VERY handy as it stops all the little things gravitating to the bottom...

Not much in mine right now, I just got it 5/15/15. My helmet does not fit very well. It is a modular and will only fit so the lid will close if I put it top side down. There is no liner in the frunk, just the plastic sides. My jacket and helmet will not fit, that is disappointing. I guess I'll look at adding a top box at some point. The jacket is a Field Sheer mesh.
