How will a 2017 F3S Daytona go pulling a trailer, and can I fit a hitch?

Fellow Can Am lovers,
I am wanting to purchase a 2017 CAN AM F3S Daytona 500 but am concerned about the ability of putting a trailer hitch on it.
I can't find any mention of a trailer hitch from Can Am Accessory listings, so it leaves me wondering if this is a doable thing for the 2017 F3S Daytona?
Anyone knowledgeable on this subject, your input would be appreciated. Thank you... Jerry

According to the spec sheet, it has the same 115 HP rated engine as all the touring models, and in the pictures, looks like the larger rear pulley.

There is no reason why it should not be able to pull a trailer of appropriate weight.

Pierre of Canam Spyder Accessories . com sells a hitch and wiring that will work on the F3S models. I tow with my 2015 F3S no problem at all. My trailer is about 300lbs as well. Canam's official stance is the Base F3 and F3S models should not tow - they don't sell a hitch for those models, but they do for the others - but there are many out there like me who tow with them no problem at all.

Joshua love your trailer. Did you build it or buy it like that?

Thanks! Trailer started as a Road Dawg Wide Track - I wanted that torsion axle frame - I don't weld. I did all the wood work/assembly myself. I have an album for the build on my FB - Joshua (Spyder-Man) Richardson.

Thanks everyone for your time in responding.
I purchased the 2017 Daytona yesterday, and today, ordered from
Pierre of Canam Spyder Accessories the hitch and wiring harness.
I feel I'm off to a good start and am already planning my 2024 Sturgis ride..

Glad you got this solved ...... but here is why ( IMHO ) BRP does not recommend your model F-3 for pulling a trailer ....... It's because they don't make a Hitch for it...... Mike
