• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

How to Replace rear taillight?

My problem is what do I have to remove to replace the whole light ? on the right side. I hope that don't have to remove the trunk, seat. Thanks

You have to remove the rear trunk panel and the rear fender, as I recall. What is causing you to have to replace the taillight assembly? If it merely failed, it may be covered under warranty, since it is an LED assembly. They replace one on my 2010 RTS.

Thanks Scotty for the reply. What happened while I was shopping someone ran a shopping cart into the light and broke the lens. I bought a new light assembly and I don't want to have the dealer replace it $$$ The replacement cost $252.32 as is. :yikes:

You don't have to remove the rear fender, just the upper cover.

Thanks, Lamont. I never did the taillight assembly all alone, and couldn't remember. Last time I was in there was to install the trailer wiring harness, and that needs the fender out of the way.
